I have been creating images since I was a young girl.
I love how photography allows us to view life through different lenses, to witness it with fresh eyes. It is an advocate and storyteller, a record keeper and documentarian, an artist and an ally.

Fact 1
I lived in Okinawa, Japan for two years while in high school, which is where I took my first black and white photography class.

Fact 2
My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic which used 126 film and flash cubes. I toted it around with me everywhere.

In addition to photography, I like to get lost in the moment with reading, writing, traveling, live music and engaging conversations.
